Mark Henry discusses… Jeff Hardy’s situation

As everyone knows by now, Jeff Hardy is not having a good time. The current AEW star was arrested on June 13 by Florida police for driving under the influence of alcohol. This was Jeff’s third such episode in the past decade.

The ‘Charismatic Enigma’ was released on bail but will not be back in the ring anytime soon. All Elite Wrestling president Tony Khan has in fact suspended him without pay until he has completed his rehabilitation. Several wrestlers and insiders have lashed out at AEW, who have been using Hardy excessively since he set foot in the company.

The former world champion struggled with his drug and alcohol addiction for most of his career. His demons have even become the subject of feuds during his WWE and AEW experiences. In the latest edition of ‘Busted Open Radio’, Mark Henry gave the two companies a dig.

“Wrestling federations try to accommodate the wishes of the fans. WWE and AEW are no exception, as they are two wrestling companies. Despite being rival companies, they have done the same thing.

I wouldn’t have used Jeff Hardy’s personal demons to create storylines, but I’m not a fan. Audiences seem to have enjoyed Jeff’s feuds with Sheamus, CM Punk and Christian Cage very much. There is no denying that that method was effective, even if I don’t like it” – said Mark Henry.

Mark had wonderful words for Randy Orton, currently in the pits due to injury. “Randy reached out to my son Jacob on social media. He told him how well he was doing, how proud he was to see him so perky and gave him some valuable advice.

It seemed that he was talking to his son. I thank him very much for this gesture”. The Viper has been experiencing a kind of second youth since she formed the tag team with Riddle. Everyone hopes that the back injury will not force him to stay out for the rest of 2022.
