Vince McMahon. problems escalate

Vince McMahon is certainly not having a good time. An investigation by the Wall Street Journal revealed that the now former WWE boss allegedly gave $3 million to a former employee with whom he had an extramarital affair. According to what has emerged in recent weeks, several such agreements have been signed by Vince over the years.

McMahon had to take a step back and his place was taken by his daughter Stephanie, while John Laurinaitis was replaced by Bruce Prichard. Dave Meltzer, a well-known correspondent for the Wrestling Observer, provided further details on the Chairman’s alleged extramarital affairs.

“I talked to some writers from those years and they all told me that Vince acted weird at times. He would come in and say out of nowhere that this or that woman should be pushed, without indicating the reason. He sounded like Vince had slept with them, even though no one has ever explicitly said it,” Meltzer said.

Guest on the latest edition of the ‘Cheap Heat’ podcast, Rita Chatterton – the first female referee in WWE history – confided that she was not surprised by the allegations against Vince McMahon.

Rita had accused him of harassment way back in 1992. “I was not at all surprised by the recent allegations against Vince McMahon. She surprised me that it took so long for the truth to come out. Vince McMahon’s behavior was known to all” – said Rita.

In recent days, the Wall Street Journal has returned to talk about the McMahon case: “Vince would have paid $12 million to four different women affiliated with WWE. Such agreements prevent women from talking about the relationship with Vince or denigrating him in any way”.
