Ric Flair is a legendary WWE Hall of Famer, and he spoke about Vince McMahon’s retirement. Vince McMahon was the CEO of the WWE. He was also the head of creative. He is currently 76 years old and many people believe that he is the person that made professional wrestling as popular as it is right now.
Vince McMahon started to slowly and steadily remove himself from the WWE after an investigation was launched against him. He allegedly paid millions of dollars to four women as hush money. This was to allegedly cover up se*ual misconduct.
He spoke about what he feels about Vince McMahon’s retirement with Chris Van Vliet. “I wasn’t happy about it at all,” Ric Flair said. “I love Vince McMahon. I don’t know what he’s doing right now, but I feel like he’ll have a hard time.
He’ll adjust, obviously, but he loved the business, and he made us all who we are, from Hulk to everybody. I don’t care what everybody thinks, he made us, you know? I have nothing but respect for him”. When asked about whether Vince will stay away from the WWE for long or not, Ric said: “He’s the majority stockholder, I don’t know if he will or not,” Flair said.
“I hope not. He’s a genius”. WWE announced a while back that Stephanie McMahon will take the role of interim CEO and chairwoman. This has now become a permanent position for her. However, Nick Khan has also joined as co-CEO.
After taking the position, Stephanie made an on-screen appearance on WWE TV where she made a short promo. Ric Flair gave credit to Vince McMahon for giving him some life-alerting advice during his time in the WWE.“ He said that I needed to get my sh*t straightened out, because I was pretty wild, as people are well aware,” Flair said.
